Quick Info: Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Sue Jin has made a great impact on the music industry, especially as an aspiring Asian American artist. Sue Jin graduated from UCLA in 2005 with a BA in Anthropology where she also contributed towards their athletic and performing arts program. While in college, she founded UCLA's first intercollegiate figure skating team and also played lead roles in her college's productions such as Grease and the Take of Changsu. Yet, her true passion resided in the art of music. It is after she graduated that she truly devoted her time to this passion.

Drawing influences from well-known artists such as Alicia Keys, India Arie, and John Legend, Sue Jin takes these influences and combines them with her personal experiences to write songs that truly define her. From her first original song, "If I Could Change," released in 2004, to her newest original song, "Worth the Tears," released in 2008,
her lyrics come straight from the heart.

"She is one of those rare breeds - a true contralto - and she is blessed with a sweeping vocal range that she manipulates to stunning dynamic effect. Add to her rock-solid, mature songwriting skills and faultless musicianship -- and you've got a total package that's hard to beat." - Steve Foley, Asian Talent Online
